Central School

Central School is not a new idea. It did exist earlier. Jigme Sherubling School is said to be famously known as Khaling central School during mackey era. In those times owing to limited resources to construct more school, it was located centrally probably to dispersed populace. As sharchop proverb says re-digging an old stool will stink, I hope this reviving an old habit won't taste foul. How different these schools are from other schools is still a bizarre. Admission criteria has however set a huge impact to the whole system. The school largely is different only in administrative system. This somehow has pulled out a wider way for the corruption. Principal in one way is set to misuse the resources by offering biased admissions. Our schools have not been shortage of resources but it has been with the poor management of the resources and misuse. I clearly remember in my school days that a japanese rice would be taken by teachers from the mess and we were substituted by FCB rice which would be full of stones. Our norway & mackeral caned fish would be reduced to one in four because teachers would take cartoons of caned fish for their family. My village has got this school. This school was decided on the current location after a vigorous argument with Tsangpopas. It was like Thrimshingpas won and MSS school was brought here. It was never dreamt of a central theory. Now it is applied, we got a central school but sadly Thrimshingpas are not allowed for the boarding. Blessing in disguise came to Tsangpopas. Children in boarding are said to get free cloths, shoes, plates, mugs, pencils, pens, books, matresses, blankets and ofcourse meals etc. Thrimshingpas are not entertained boarding in Thrimshing Central School. What a sad nightmare. Some children got admission which are considered under kidhu. Now i am just baffled how kidhu criteria is being set. 

Lets not open the flexibility door. It is better to have clear and proper guidelines.
