Pay rise must be good news to everyone but it might not be very good news to low and medium income levels. If the intention of pay hike is to reduce the income GAP, I think the percentage hike does not really suits into.
The 20% rise of 10,000 takes to 12000 and the same percentage rise for 60,000 takes to 72,000 which further increases income GAP to 60,000 from 50,000 (a 20% increase in Income Gap)
Automatically local markets will raise their prices for goods/commodities with news of hike, but their rise won't be in percentage to customers salary. This undermines human rites through government policy deliberately.
