Druk Super Star show has won many hearts, both old and young. More importantly it has kept the Bhutanese song culture thriving on the national stage. While I am very much fond of modern day bhutanese music -rigsar, i am equally interested in our traditional songs like zhungdra and boedra. Thanks to the organizer, the show stole the eyes of many people of the Kingdom.
The recent show concluded with conferring Ms Tshering Yangdon as the first Drukgee Tsi Pem bagging prize of Nu. 0.4 million along with the traditional music instrument-dramnyen. The Super Star went to Karma who would be remembered as the man of champion voice. His eyes almost teary received the cheque worth 0.4 million.
