Protocal of Title, Kabney and Patang

We have witnessed so much of uneasy situations among the member of parliamentarians. Some have surrendered the orange kabney entitled for ministers to go back to ordinary white. Some have switched back to their Orange from a Blue right after the end of the tenure as MP.

Now what is this all about Kabney and Patangs? These are the sacred symbols for  our nation. Therefore, it deserves to be carefully handled with our conscience. Are we not too hard in dealing with it?     What about title?

Dasho is a revered term. It is highly regarded in our society. The title is honorarium for the person from the throne. It is funny how BBS call Dasho Neten Zangmo as Mam Neten Zangmo. I am feeling guilty if I should call Dasho Tshering Tobgay, a very honored citizen as Mr Tshering Tobgay or Sir Tshering. How cheap is to go to down the level saying it is election? Just because some revered citizen is into politics does not mean we have to call them donkey-monkey.  Is our election all about this protocol and formalities?

I think the concerned agencies must work out and find out the physical impact which may cause to free and fair election just by using this title. Is our elections still this much delicate? Lets call Dasho a Dasho where ever we are. Because I can't call Dasho Dorji Choden as Ama Dorji because she is recognized from the throne for her abilities, however sweet ama may sound it.

How do we define Sir and Mam is just a title that any one can have it?
