The Triple One Day

National Day, 17 December is marked as the big event amongst all other ocassions and it is significant for all of us as to recall the great deed of the past so as to gratify them and also to understand our roles for the future nation building.

As I glued to somewhat poor signal TV His Majesty addressed the nation from Samtse and I felt like the place to be renamed as Damtshe, because it is the first platform for me to witness Three Yellows of our nation on the same podium. Indeed it was the great tripple one national day. Congratulations to our Jekhenpo for the Nga Dap Pel Gi khorlo. I realy felt like I was the one among the awarding committee.

The very important key take away from this years national day was what public servant is? And who are they? HM has explicitly pronounced the numbers of public servants those are served with government salaries. Civil Servants under RCSC, Employees under DHI, SOEs, Armed Forces and the Elected Representatives. The quote goes 'after ten to fifteen years if our country prosper more than what is today it is to those public servants we must be thankful of but  if the country fails it is the public servants who has failed'. Therefore, as the elected government is mandated for five years it is the public servants who should perform the reliable sustainability and continuity. I am much more inspired and bestowed with bigger sense of responsibility.

It is a good news that one public servant is available for every thirteen citizens. Tashi Delek to 2018.
